Motto in Vancouver

Zurich’s Motto store/distributor has set up in Vancouver for the next few weeks, with talks and workshops planned alongside displays of magazines, fanzines and books. It all takes place at Fillip, though there appears to be nothing on their site at present.

Manzine 3

Manzine returns, not only pinker and funnier than ever, but available to buy online.

Celebrate The Tree (Manzine Design Classic No3); take a photographic tour round the former Iraqi embassy in East Berlin; learn bachelor cookery. There’s even a free colour print by Ralph Steadman. And days after Monocle claimed their tote bag sales had funded their new Hong Kong bureau, enjoy Manzine’s pop-up Berlin street store (after the jump) which rather than fund a new bureau was presumably diverted to pay for the free print.

Manzine II

The long-promised issue two of my favourite post-Arena men’s title Manzine is now out, featuring a gorilla mask on the front cover as a nod towards the Phil Collins appreciation inside. And if you’re lucky you’ll get one of the special issues with 3D rolling eyes, above.
