Jan Walaker recently sent me the latest issue of his magazine Hot Rod. Jan splits his time between Ibiza and Oslo, and his magazine reflects those two very different but slightly off the edge of the mainstream cities. The entire issue is given over to the explosively coloured erotic work of Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami. ‘This is Peter Sellers and Benny Hill hooking up with Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso in Valhalla…’ is how Jan describes the issue, which also includes a DVD of animations by the artist.
