Editorial design applied to office wayfinding
The Guardian newspaper has began its move to a purpose-built office in King’s Cross, London. Here’s an example of how the design team have applied the look of the newspaper to the navigation of the office.

Ha, I did some pickups for a second-hand bookshop from their old site, and it had similar stuff but not as slick as this!

there’s a little piece about it on the Eye blog . . . signage is by Cartlidge Levine, and Mark points out in a comment that ‘it wasn’t all commissioned by me, Cartlidge Levene worked with group of Guardian/Observer people on this, and . . . Giles Brenard and his team from the commercial creative dept did most of the heavy lifting!’
