Pin-Up
A new architecture title from NY, Pin-Up focuses ‘less on the technical details in architecture and design, more on the personalities behind it, the stories, the gossip, the historial background – a playful, non-news driven, excercise in architectural and design iconography’. Sounds good, and though I haven’t seen a printed issue the online version looks great, as it should do being led by Felix Burrichter, once an assistant to Jop van Bennekom at Fantastic Man in Amsterdam. Correction: Burrichter isn’t a designer, but worked as an editorial assistant at Fantastic Man.
