Hello South Africa

I’m off today to Cape Town tonight to catch with my friend Crispian Brown and do some workshops with his creative teams at customer publisher New Media. I’ll also be giving a couple of talks – a look at the relationship between editor and art director, and an overview of current publishing trends. Plus I’ll be meeting up with the people at The President, creators of the beautiful Afro and MK Bruce/Lee magazines. Reports to follow…

1. Howzit. I work at New Media. It’s been a privilege and a mindf**k to have Jeremy here. We’re all more than a little star-struck. I hope Jeremy’s brilliance rubs off on us.

   My only regret is that the Englishman seems to have brought his weather with him. I hope his cricket side don’t.
