D&AD Awards 2010

I already mentioned that next year’s D&AD Awards are now open for entries, but now the juries have been announced. Enter the Magazine and Newspaper category and have you work judged by this lot, led by me. That’s the people from Intersection, 032c, Oprah Magazine (and formerly Boston Magazine), new launch Twin (and formerly Lula) and UK Elle. Not included above but also judging, is newspaper specialist John Belknap.

The category has attracted some great work over the past few years. But there’s always good work missing because it hasn’t been entered. Have a look at last year’s winners and see if you think your work is better/more deserving – check here for 2009 and here for 2008.

Then enter!

Speaking of Twin, will you be doing a review of their inaugural issue soon?

If memory serves, Belknap did the early dummies for Wired UK. He certainly has a mag pedigree as well as newspapers.

Good comments all.

That McSweeneys newspaper project is beautiful, I’m trying to get a copy. Twin should be on its way to me, so review soon.

re Belknap, he does indeed have pedigree in magazine and newspaper, but I wanted to highlight his newspaper side here.
