Another tablet experiment
The Sports Illustrated tablet concept video posted here last week was a slightly naive attempt to adapt editorial thinking to a digital device, the balance too heavily tipped toward mimicking print rather than the editorial experience.
This second video, from Bonnier, is a significantly better attempt at projecting how such a device might use editorial content (as well as presenting a lovely looking prototype of the device itself)

Is it me, or do Vimeo videos never work?

Don’t quite understand the slight against the SI demo. It appeared to be an actual, working prototype with an engaging design and many interactive elements.
This Bonnier clip looks like fake digital effects layered onto video footage. Extremely dull layouts and columns of grey text. But sure, you can mouse things up and down with your finger. The future is now. Apparently.

Russell Davies describes the differences between the two prototypes well.

I think the SI one had too many bells and whistles, this one seems to be designed for actual reading.
