Togetherness

Following the recent post about Wired and Wallpaper* accidentally combining their covers to create a single message, here’s a deliberate attempt at togetherness.

Sister magazines Little White Lies and Huck have just published their new issues as a combined pairing, above. The two covers link together a single artwork by Geoff McFetridge to celebrate the release of Spike Jonze’s latest movie ‘Where the Wild Things Are’.

Little White Lies always focuses on one movie, and this issue it is ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, while board sports title Huck carries an interview with director Jonze. A clever use of resources by publisher The Church of London.

Fill this space

While OK-Periodical is offering you chance to contibrute a piece of their next front cover, movie magazine Little White Lies have offered up the whole cover of their next issue. As usual, the issue will focus on a single film, in this case Spike Jonze’s ‘Where the Wild Things Are’.  Download and print the blank template, add you own design for a Wild Thing, and post/email it to the magazine. Not sure the lucky winner will feature on the cover, but the best designs will be showcased in the issue.
