PPA Awards 2011 – winners

Congratulations to Marissa Bourke and Finnie Finn for their Designer of the Year wins at last night’s PPA Awards in London. Both designers deserve the recognition for great work on their respective projects. Worth noting too that both design awards went to women.

Generally the awards were spread across the UK’s smaller publishers, with an absence of awards to any of big players Condé Nast, IPC or Bauer Media. Hearst’s Natmags won a couple, but otherwise the big winners were Hachette Filipacchi and TSL Education.
