As the final issue of The Happy Reader—the unique collaboration between the Fantastic Man team and Penguin Books—is launched, we publish the text of a 2016 interview with Editor-in-chief Seb Emina. He spoke to Jeremy Leslie about the origins of the magazine and its unique place among literary magazines.

Dutch art director Jaap Biemans is perhaps better known as Coverjunkie, regularly posting the best contemporary magazine covers on his website and Instagram. He also collects vintage magazines, and has curated an exhibition highlighting the relationship between covers and art. He tells us about the show and shares some favourite covers.
