ModMag lineup and schedule

The background buzz of anticipation is building to a bassy throb – just one week left until The Modern Magazine 2015! MagCulture HQ is spilling over with boxes of giveaways for our totes, multiple print jobs are under way, catering is being prepared, Jeremy’s new book ‘Independence’ is about to go on press and we’re even constructing a lectern. Before we know it our speakers will be flying in, the theatre will be filling up, and we’ll be up and running.

If you’ve already booked your ticket, take a look through the timings below to start planning your day. If you’ve yet to book, get in quick as we expect to sell out in the next couple of days.

Magazine handling sessions
Something really special for you magaholics! The chance to sign up for a limited number of spaces on our unique magazine handling sessions. These are a rare chance to look through and handle a range of classic magazines from the CSM and magCulture archives, under the expert guidance of CSM design tutor Cath Caldwell. We have two sessions, starting at the coffee and tea breaks. Note numbers are very limited and participants will miss part of the next talks.

magCulture pop-up shop
Our shop will be open all day offering magazines from our speakers, Jeremy Leslie’s new book ‘Independence’ and other goodies. Bring your credit card!

Park Communications
We have worked with Park on a number of projects now – they’re printing ‘Independence’ right now – and they’re the major supporter of ModMag15. Make sure you take some time to check out their outstanding print work on their stand next to the magCulture shop.

Keeping you alert!
It’s a busy day; we’ll be refeshing you with coffee, tea and water at every opportunity, feeding you at lunchtime and at the end of the day calming you down again with wine and beer courtesy of our friends at Monocle.
