The Stack Awards 2017
The Stack Awards are back! Following the success of the last two competitions, which attracted entries from around the world, the Stack team are inviting entries for their 2017 edition.
With the indie mag world continuing to expand, this is a great way to take measure. As ever with Awards, you have to enter to be involved but unlike other programmes the entry fees are set at a sensible £30. In return, your magazine will be judged by a pair of experts from publishing and beyond — some great specialists have been called in to assess the entries, with each of the ten categories having a dedicated pair of judges. I’m excited to be teaming up with Gail Bichler again to judge Best Magazine.
If you’re wondering what constitutes ‘indie,’ check the Stack definition (via Indiemags): ‘The chiefs are the makers – the people who take care of the financial decisions are responsible for the magazine’s content or design’
Entries must have been published between October 2016 and September 2017, and the deadline to enter is 29 September.
