In common with many international microzines Neo2 prints most text in black only, leaving colour for the pictures. To add variation and texture to this simple formula, its 30+ issues have featured a constantly evolving selection of typefaces in its headlines.

Recently the headline fonts have been chosen from those created by Stefan Gandl, as featured in most of the examples shown above (top left, DS Beeswax, top right and bottom left, DS Form). In addition the magazines' design team edit existing fonts, as in the fourth example above.
