A self-identified 'open and participatory' publication, Noia offers a physical space for 'creatives and thinkers to visually react to the complex problems of our contemporary times, both as individuals and as a society.'
Oh, and the name? It means 'boredom' in Italian. Within the pages of this visual experiment, diptychs from artists aim to spark new conversations from paired images and a beautiful essay exploring our relationship with death, the Anthropocene and cyclical cycles of nature.
The second issue is themed 'Reassemblage' and each copy contains a poster curated by Emidio Battipaglia focusing on past trauma with contributions towards healing.
