‘Dedicated to emotional exploration’
Combining slow fashion, art and conversations on mental health, each issue of the small-format and introspective Tummy Ache is dedicated to exploring a single emotion through essays, interviews, poetry and more, with the aim of challenging ‘a culture of emotional stagnation.’
Following their sophomore edition focussing on jealousy, this is the Lazy issue—appealing to all the ‘slobs, scroungers, leeches, lazy bitches’ or simply burnt out anti-capitalists amongst us. Alongside interviews with some bigger names in stand-up comedian Catherine Cohen, musician Dana Margolin and author Sophie K. Rosa, laziness is explored through writing on (un)productive resistance, ‘bed-rotting,’ marginalisation, safety, and the in-between.
