New title Noix (translated as ‘nuts’—pardon the French) is a ‘modern lads mag’ covering everything from the Italian influence on UK football culture to the hedonistic pursuit of escargot and chilled Beaujolais in the Big Smoke. Unlike other more traditional men’s magazines—established titles that have adapted to appeal to a Gen X and Gen Z audience—Noix is aimed at a decidedly different millennial crowd.

According to the editors: ‘We loved the old days of narrative journalism: Norman Mailer, Hemingway, Tom Wolfe, and missed a menswear magazine that actually spoke to us. Noix is the answer to those questions’.

Inside this debut issue for Summer 2025, you’ll find a 26-page feature tracing the Italian origins of Stone Island jackets that have since become a staple of British football stands; a tongue-in-cheek report on the ‘false economy’ of luxury socks; a conversation between the editors and local linen brand Original Fibres co-founders Callum McCall and George Rutherford Jones; plus, more on ties, jazz and London’s French renaissance.
