'Running stories from around the world'
Like the Wind brings together stories for, by, and about people who run. This isn't a magazine about how to run — but why. The perfect place for those looking for running community and/or inspiration to lace up their shoes and get outside — whether for the first time or just the first time in a wee while...
In issue 37, Like the Wind confronts and embraces change, and it encourages its readers to do likewise. Among the stories are many examples of runners adapting to new circumstances: whether it be the effects of ageing on training and mindset, the expectations of ultra-runners after the surprise win by Kilian Jornet at Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc in 2008, or correcting assumptions about elite distance runners in Kenya. Plus! A big change ahead for the LtW team, who announce their new sister publication Like The Wind JP, launching next month in Tokyo to capture Japan's special running culture.
