Launched in 2023 by our near-neighbours Artiq—an agency linking business clients with the art world—Artiq Annual spotlights individuals and businesses that are ‘creating impact with culture’ through creative partnership and collaboration.
This pistachio coloured third edition is a quiet protest against sidelining imagination and highlighting the importance of creativity in our society. With themes around the resurgence of craft, Gen Z entering the world of work, how technology can create a promising future for art, and reflecting on the current state of the creative industry, Artiq is scanning the present and future state of art and creativity.
This issue features conversations with Belmond's Head of Brand Arnaud Champenois, multidisciplinary artist Samson Bakare, spacial designer Joyce Wang, Heatherwick Studio, sculpturer Juliet Ferguson-Rose and textile artist Nowshin Prenon.
Additionally, ‘Ones to Watch’ introduces four recent graduates in Rose Shuckburgh, Yuxuan Hou, Sara Sahores and Gaia Ozwyn.
