With a founding date of 1854, BJP is of course the world's oldest and longest running photography magazine. But age has not caused it to stagnate — as they say, it's ‘not your usual game of picture karaoke.’

This is the Performance issue, with the cover image shot by German photographer Isabelle Wenzel who, quite appropriately, is also a trained acrobat! Plus, work by Alejandro Acín, Carrie Mae Weems, Morgan Ashcom, Rose Marie Cromwell, Jem Southam and Yan Wang Preston inside.
