magCulture Edit: Our neighbourhood

Join us for the first in a new series of panel discussions in partnership with The Hoxton.

At each event we’ll be presenting a group of speakers from magazines with a shared interest. We start with a look at magazines about location and neighbourhood.

Magazines are community makers and the perfect vehicles for reflecting and celebrating neighbourhood life. We’ll be exploring how four very different London titles are championing the capital and tapping into less know pockets of the city through their pages. From the city-wide listings of Time Out, to new hyperlocal launches, we’ll be asking what the role of the local magazine is today. magCulture’s founder Jeremy Leslie will be chairing the talk, and will be joined by:

Isabel Warby
Managing Editor at Courier London and Head of Partnerships at Courier magazine
Jessica Miller
Creative Director and Founder, South East London Journal
James Manning
City Life Editor, Time Out London
Luciane Pisani
Art Director and Co Editor, Village Raw

Each speaker will introduce their magazine before the discussion, which will be followed by audience questions. The magCulture Shop will be on site too, with a special edit of favourite magazines.
