Audio: magCulture Podcast, episode 17

Posted by

Our first podcast of 2020 features the co-founder of a magazine that’s been at the heart of the indie scene for the last seven years.

The Gourmand has long established its credentials as a beautifully produced food journal. Co-founder David Lane joins Jeremy Leslie at the magCulture Shop for this episode.

After a flick through some new magazines (Family Portrait, South London Review of Hand Dryers, Vouse Italia and Rubbish FAMzine) – and quick mentions of anticipated new launches – the two talk about the recent 13th issue The Gourmand, and David discusses art directing Frieze magazine.

Our back issue this time is the first issue of Buffalo Zine, from 2011. Check the i-D post Jeremy mentions here.
