magCulture x D&AD update

The original twenties
A new book by Paytrick Rossler resurrects an unfinished Bauhaus project from the 1920s, a collection by Moholy Nagy of ‘Illustrated magazines’. Steven Heller takes a quick look.

Blitz magazine co-founder Simon Tesler, in a rare interview, looks back at the eighties and has only negative thoughts on the present, ‘It seems to me – and it’s a terrible shame - that although newspapers are just about managing still to hang on for now, the age of magazines is well and truly over’.
