‘A summoning of ancient terrors’

Named for the poisonous plant and mythical ingredient for witch’s flying ointment, Hellebore is a spooky little zine dedicated to British folk horror and the occult. The pen-and-ink botanical illustrations combined with a haunted pastoral design are reminiscent of the Wicker Man meets Victorian nature guides, while its compact size makes it a pocket grimoire for any aspiring mystical enthusiast.

This is the Elemental issue, ‘a reminder of nature and its sacredness, its perilousness, its beauty and terror’ and according to the editor's letter, somewhat embodied by the UK's almost-desert Dungeness (to which many a magCulture staffer have made the pilgrimage).

Inside, get your fix of gothic fairies, ancient healing stones, gnomes, water serpents, weather magic and more inhabiting the landscapes of Britian.
