Text and design: Orson Gillick Morris
This is a magazine about making a magazine; founder Orson Gillick Morris interviews artists and designers while enlisting their advice about producing a magazine. It’s centred around highlights of a conversation last May between founder Orson Gillick Morris and graphics guru Peter Saville. Orson invites Saville’s advice, and claims to have applied it throughout the issue.
The result is a deconstructed magazine of interviews and appropriated advertising that makes generous use of the rarer reaches of InDesign.
‘I don’t know what I’m doing—which makes the magazine look ridiculous…’
