Justsmile is a magazine to be found at the 'cross-section of fine art, fashion, ideas, self-expression, and inclusivity', all the while working to shine a light on Black and People of Colour's (PoC) work in particular.

Issue #5 has three cover stars: Actor, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and artist, Mustafa. Within Mustafa's feature, he articulates that his diary-like album 'Dunya' has a responsibility to carry the memory, weight and identity of the people and the place he grew up with. Similarly,  Kevin Harrison Jr. speaks about duty and his responsibility to portray black historical and cultural figures through his acting work, which he has become celebrated for leaning so truthfully into. The third cover stars, Chance and baby Santiago, are part of the street-cast story 'Vecinos' by Marcus Correa and Carlos Jaramillo about the 'new mexican identity emerged in the wake of westward expansion.'
