Like the Wind brings together stories for, by, and about people who run. This isn't a magazine about how to run; but why. The perfect place for those looking for community and a little inspiration to lace up their shoes; whether for the first time or just the first time in a while.

In this issue: 'we meet people who, for one reason or another, have come up against barriers to participation in running – or still do. A group of extremely dedicated women we photographed at the Houston Marathon (page 83) have to balance training and racing at an elite level with holding down jobs and raising their families. On page 51, we talk to Samia Akbar, who after 15 years is still the fastest American-born Black woman over the marathon distance – a situation that seems to highlight inequality in sport.'
