‘The Slow Journal’

Lohi is new title for our travel shelf, with a special focus on ‘slow lifestyles,’ meaning a preference for local authenticity, organic and sustainable practices, and a holistic approach to travel and tourism. Each issue is made up of two parts: one an in-depth guide to a specific destination, and the other a collection of general, slow travel writing and stories.

The first issue covers stories from Cap Corse aka Corsica's 'supernatural' northern peninsula; and an island within an island. Discover a B&B hidden in the mountains and revered by creatives, or where to find the island's best beer ('probably the best beer in the world', as editor Philip Warkander quips.

Then, halfway through, flip the magazine upside down to read the second part covering (our neighbour) Sessions Art Club, Valencia, Lake Garda, Silent Living, and more.
