'Collecting stories & conversations around the world'
For its second volume, The Jungle Journal took a trip to East Africa, featuring stories from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. In the editors' own words:
'Each region was as unique and different as the last, yet a common thread ran through them all. It was the heart and soul of Africa shining shining beyond borders. This is not to ignore the pain of past's causing. Whether the impacts of colonialism or the consequences we see today because of it, a strengthening African identity has triumphed. No matter how cosmopolitan or rural a place, there was an intrinsic connection between people and land.'
