Slick interiors title Ton is based on the premise that we are going through a new golden age of interiors, as our homes become places through which we express our personalities.
This Spring/Summer 2025 issue arrives after a difficult year for editor-in-chief Jermaine Gallacher, its theme ‘Amour et Fidélité’ (or ‘Love and Loyalty’) a tribute to the friends who helped him through—‘many of whom you'll have met in the pages of Ton.’
It's another strong issue, this time featuring a tastefully eclectic mix of objects and spaces: still life paper collages; hooks and handles affixed to rock climbing walls; trips to Wales' ancient Gwydir Castle, the enigmatic Villa Katharina in North London and an iconic Istanbul patisserie; an ode to Trafford Centre and typologies of the English front garden. All photographed with plenty of personality.
On the Journal
At work with Jermaine Gallacher: ‘The name Ton connotes weight and heft, but also society and community, which ties in with the magazine, which we want to reflect a community of fresh makers and tastemakers.’
