A small artist-run publishing project currently producing both Turps Banana Painting Magazine and the newer, Mass, a magazine exploring sculpture. This wonderfully purple 26th issue opens with a quote from the late British abstract painter Jane Harris (1956-2022), who died earlier in December following a short illness:
'What's so fantastic about painting is that something – whether it is a form or a mark or an area in a painting – can do more than one thing at once. ... It has that flexibility or that variability that I think is just wonderful, and I'm still in love with the way painting can do that...'
