We redesigned Noble Rot to give the content the setting we felt it deserved. The small-format magazine offers an alternative approach to wine, placing it in the context of contemporary art, music and food to break down the traditional fustiness of wine journalism.

We worked with art director Holly Catford on a complete revamp, introducing new fonts, a tighter structure and more attention to pacing. The magazine has always used illustration, and we’ve been working to broaden the selection of illustrators featured.

For issue seven we also worked with lettering artist Antero Nuutinen to create a new Noble Rot logo. noblerot.tumblr.com
