Field – the Match Day Paper

This weekend at premiership grounds across England (with the exception of Norwich and Newcastle, where council permission didn’t drop in time), the first edition of a new free football magazine will be distributed. Field comes from the Liverpool-based (booooo!) team behind Spiel magazine, and the first issue stars Man Utd’s Danny Welbeck on the cover (booooo!). It’s a good-looking newspaper format publication; I’ll be looking for a copy at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
