The Baffler publishes cultural analysis, short stories, poems, art and left-wing political criticism six times a year. This latest edition is themed ‘Life Alert’ and examines age across the spectrum. 

It's a unique moment to talk about ageing because, as editor Matthew Shen Goodman writes, ‘there have never been so many of us of so many ages (nearly a third of the eight billion people alive today are under eighteen), and so there are an unprecedented number of generations now existing.’
