Sirocco Journal is a short-run publication from the creative studio of the same name focused on artisanal processes. The journal itself explores innovative art practices from a broad swath of cultural references, from fashion to music to skate culture.
For the second issue, founder Luke Newbould interviewed 15 artists and academics including ceramicist Gleb Reinhardt, musician Loshh Aje, photographer and skater Sirus Gahan, and streetwear designer Colm Dillane, aka KidSuper. The conversations discuss authenticity, multimedia, immersion, and evolution – familiar qualities to any artistic journey.
