Each issue of the folkelore-ish and community-oriented Odious Rot spotlights the work of artists and creatives across disciplines—photography, fashion, performance art, writing and more—with the aim of ‘fossilising independent creatives in print’. This third issue is themed Troubled Waters, bringing together work that responds to the lore surrounding the ‘damp, the dank and the wet’:

This world feels our most complete body of work yet. Our aim was to build a system, our own artefacts and ephemera stowed within, to showcase talent we feel is owed more light—a titanium trove dredged up from the deep.’

Artfully designed with a nautical touch, expect a range of experimental work on Neapolitan sirens, hydromantic spells, the Irish Boglands, underwater hoaxes, deep sea mining, a magnesium sulphate heptahydrate bath and more from the aquatic depths.
