'A journal of formally promiscuous non-fiction'

A new addition to our shelves, Tolka is a non-fiction literary journal featuring 'essays, reportage, travel writing, auto-fiction, individual stories and the writing that flows in between.' As a team, Tolka encourage submissions that don't fit the usual 'literary journal' boxes. Instead, experimentation is encouraged as a way to 'test the creative boundaries of non-fiction.'

The latest issue has a pleasing watery cover and features work by Kimberly Campanello, Tim MacGabhann, Sean Tanner, Rowan Wilson, and more; plus, an interview with novelist Anne Enright and four essays in response to Samuel Beckett.
