‘Nature, identity, travel and creativity’
A beautifully produced, large-format photography biannual exploring the relationship between humans and the natural world. Presented as a series of back-to-back folios, each issue curates images from, as the title suggests, an archipelagic mix of emerging and established photographers in whose work ‘similarities are sometimes hidden and subtle’.
This debut issue—themed ‘From Zero’—suggests new beginnings and rebirth, opening with a set of texts from Dalia Al-Dujaili, Cosimo Bizazarri, Paul Kupfer and Robin Sara Stauder all printed on uncoated paper. The photography follows, making up the magazine's glossy-paged core and featuring 21 photographers from Mexico, Tanzania, Greece, Peru, Italy, South Korea, France and beyond.
