‘A new look at interiors’
Each issue of the gorgeous, large-format and loose-bound Objection presents a single room—out of a predetermined set of six, we've had The Living Room, The Bathroom and now, the focus shifts to the The Kitchen.
It's another considered exploration, this time of a space filled with ‘rituals, reflections of identity, relationships with the furniture that surrounds us daily and the tools we use, some of which existed for thousands of years.’
Crucially, the team have chosen not focus on food (‘a subject abundantly explored elsewhere’) which allows the physical space of kitchens, the craft of their objects, and the people behind them to take centre stage across its large pages. Expect beautiful photography, vivid details, and insights into the kitchen's evolution.
