Coeval is a large format underground arts and culture magazine and the eponymous print publication of the popular online platform and creative studio. The avant-garde biannual was conceived with the intention of uniting creatives across disciplines—covering architecture, art, design, events, fashion, film, photography, performance, music and more—with the overarching goal of ‘establishing a framework of reference points aimed at the post-digital future’.

This sophomore edition for Fall/Winter 2025/2026, titled ‘IRL’, examines our evolving experience of reality amid the ongoing reconstruction of our daily lives as technology and digital culture become increasingly pervasive. The issue frames ‘in real life’ as no longer separate from, but rather entangled with and augmented by, the internet. Inside, the team speak with artist Rebecca Ackroyd about how reality and imagination can co-exist, filmmaker Jordan Strafer about her work examining familial psychodrama and cultural memory, and New York–based artist Amanda Ba about her breathtaking large-scale oil paintings confronting desire. Elsewhere, you’ll find fashion editorials by Ana Marti, Tereza Mundillová, Boris Yamaca, Mark Yareham, and more.
