Editor-in-chief: Léopold Lambert

A magazine concerning the ‘politics of space and bodies’, which along with its podcast and blog, is building an archive for anti-colonial, anti-racist, queer, and feminist struggles. Now published in English and French (we have the English version), the name refers to someone who performs on a tightrope or a slack rope.

This issue is themed ‘Follow the Money,’ and is guest edited by Tunisian anthropologist and visual artist Myriam Amri. Working with Léopold Lambert, the two enter the crevices of a capitalist system and trace it back to property, land, capital, and class. They look around the world, checking out the monetary politics of Sudan, Puerto Rico and Brazil, and adding in a board game titled, ‘You’ve Got Yourselves a Revolution, Now What?’

Amri’s introduction note neatly uses the finances of the magazine as a way in to the discussion of the theme. Read it here.
