‘A new era for Crafts’
Having been published as a bimonthly for almost 50 years by the Crafts Council—the UK’s national charity for craft—Crafts relaunched itself as a biannual in a redesigned format last year, with a refreshed editorial spotlight on makers, artists and designers from the UK and around the world.
On the cover of this autumnally hued Autumn/Winter 2024, it's Turner Prize nominee Delaine Le Bas. Inside, she chats to The White Pube co-founder Zarina Muhammad about her practice, accompanied by features on the regeneration of sustainable wool production, the puppetry of Spirited Away on stage, and artist Jeffrey Gibson—the first Native American artist to present solo at the US pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
