The Aussie-born ‘magazine out of left field’ seeks to present the positive side of sport, looking and listening deeper to present a more nuanced narrative. Good Sport returns to our shelves after a few years, though now smaller in size and with a relatively pared-back design.
This sixth issue is themed ‘The Prop’, exploring how sport takes on a supporting role for something more, far beyond its competitive and entertainment roots—‘how has sport held open a door leading to a world that, while beyond the sporting, would be impossible without it?’
Split into two parts—Theory and Practice—with stories on Covid-era tennis, a day out watching Millwall FC, Rugby League as diplomacy, indoor athletics and the dynamics of Super Bowl viewership.
