‘Celebrating Modern Printmaking’
A popular magazine celebrating and exploring the vast and varied world of printmaking and inky-ness; from spotlighting artists, interviews, visiting studios and more.
Exploring resourcefulness, this issue brings us versatile print techniques and tools along with devoting time and space to creating art. Printmakers such as Jana A. Abril, Marthe Armitage, Santi Pozzi and Kelly Belter explain their individual methods, materials and stories of print.
Also find inside: limiting print to shape and colour, making time to make, wood engraving, eco-friendly anthotype, and more!
On the Journal
At work with John Coe: ‘I first came to printmaking via my first magazine, Boneshaker which was about cycling, but we worked with illustrators to create screenprints to sell online and at bike shows. I designed one myself and had a go at printing it too and I loved the hands-on side of turning a design that had been made on a computer into a tactile print.’
