American monthly magazine Rolling Stone has been covering music, pop culture and politics since its sixties counter-culture heyday, combining hard-hitting journalism with celebrity. In June 2024, designers Richard Turley and Mark Leeds reinvented it from top to bottom—everything from type to paper weight—completely reinvigorating the magazine while honouring its editorial and visual heritage.
It’s a remarkable redesign and we’re excited to have copies of the second redesign issue, September 2024.
Rapper Ice Spice lights up the delightfully orange cover of the issue (a hint of PSL season, anyone?). She discusses coming to fame through TikTok, her debut album and never taking a day off in the feature interview. Plus, Ohio senator Sherrod Brown makes a progressive stand, Francis Ford Coppola discusses his new movie Megalopolis, and much more.
