‘Architecture, design, scénographie’
Assuming a softer approach to the arts and design, JTM—presumably a phonetic abbreviation of the French je t'aime—explores how emotion influences our relationships to, and the creation of, objects, spaces and environments. Through bilingual interviews, short essays and curated visuals, it brings together a group of architects, artists and designers ‘who create with their greatest emotions.’
Love is at the heart of this elegantly designed debut issue, which takes inspiration from the Celine Dion classic Pour que tu m'aimes encore/So that you'll love me again. Opening with an index of 102 beautiful objects and furniture pieces, you'll also find insights from Italian design duo Formafantasma, singer songwriter Flora Fishbach, Lebanese curator Rawaad Baaklini, architecture offices Bunker Palace and L'Atelier Senzu, plus more.
