Magazine of Romantic Geography’

A chunky little magazine that addresses our collective experience of cities and looks at the ways people and landscapes make and remake one another.

Following the previous issue dedicated to how Japan’s growing Muslim population has adapted traditional Japanese architecture for their places of worship, this one looks at the minimalist work of Tokyo studio Schemata Architects. It provides an overview of their work, with plenty of input from lead architect Jo Nagasaka, who promotes his ideas of pluralistic architecture.
