Welcome back, Kennedy. There always seems to be a tantilising wait between each issue of the nostalgia-rich, photography-led, Kennedy—and it’s always worth it. (That wait, which has now been formally recognised as we note 'Biannual' has been dropped from their formally 'Biannual Journal of Curiosities' tagline).
For their 15th edition, editor Chris Kontos leads us by the hand to a city he knows very well, Paris. A well-timed issue, given that many of us have had our eyes on the City of Light for the recent 2024 Olympics and Paralympics:
'Wandering around the city I found myself again lost in a place where time doesn't matter, where our selves feel like they have been there forever. Things are simple. Some red wine, a friendly smile, and everything seems in the right place. Paris is giving you the answers without you even asking for them.'
Each edition is a beautiful tribute to living life, as well as the people and places that fill it and this one is no different. It's a photography magazine. It's a travel magazine; it's about style and craft—but unlike other publications of those genres, Kennedy is softer around the edges (and we're here for it).
