Published by our friends at French type foundry Production Type, Dossier Jannon explores the work of 17th century French type designer Jean Jannon, through a set of five publications of varying sizes. Presented in a kraft paper-like folder, it functions simultaneously as a type specimen and a detailed piece of typographic research, consisting of a bilingual essay by historian Sébastien Morlighem and various high quality, 1:1 reproductions of Jannon's type specimens.
Contrasting these simpler stapled booklets is a glossy, highlighter pink-accented broadsheet showcasing Production Type’s own custom LVMH typeface, which all the publications happen to be typeset in as well.
