London, UK
First published in 2010

Elephant returns! After announcing it would cease publication back in 2022 and a brief hiatus that followed, London's energetic and colourful contemporary arts title is back (quite literally) bigger than ever. Relaunched under a new editorial team with a mammoth redesign by Zak Group, this issue is a bumper 500-page annual for 2024.

Split into twelve sections that ‘fuse together the best qualities of nostalgic pop-culture coverage with the intellectual rigour of traditional arts reporting’ (each titled in the magazine's new bespoke trunk-like typeface), this issue is aptly dedicated to transformation, featuring twelve different artists on the covers: George Rouy, Pippa Garner, Jeffrey Gibson, Ser Serpas, Judy Chicago, Diamond Stingily, George Clinton, Miles Greenberg and more.
