A new, Risograph-printed quarterly of art and writing, Scary Boots is a self-described ‘zine with its feet in the slime’, each issue focussing on an aspect of human experience.
Primarily duotone with a handful of full colour digitally printed images, this second issue is themed ‘Desire’, covering the intangibility of desire, poetry on voyeurism, sensory words on ‘Objects of Desire,’ plus a gorgeous series of paintings by Zach Toppin centring themes of masculinity and the fetishisation of personal articles.
Limited edition of 100 copies, with a little postcard inside.
